Deborah Stevens is an accomplished sculptor, potter and painter, living in Wellington, Somerset.

In addition to being a creator, Deborah is a well-known mentor and teacher in pottery and sculpture, with a fully equipped home studio, including potter’s wheels and kiln.

In an artistic career spanning 20 years, Deborah has constantly honed her expertise and advanced her creativity in order to produce a great many unique pieces across many genres.

 “I love to create larger abstract and figurative sculptures, or simply make wheel or hand molded cups, plates and bowls…even spoons.”

Deborah’s educational achievements are as broad as her creative imagination, including ceramics, sculpture and fine art and her experience in colour analysis and complimentary therapy has added to the depth of her experimental ideas and techniques.

Deborah also seeks inspiration farther afield – during a break in Mallorca, she noted: “I was captivated by the vibrancy of the wonderful array of flowers where I was staying…it felt so happy and alive”. The subsequent work has formed part of a broad, widely exhibited portfolio.

Deborah’s exhibition venues have included: The Chocolate Factory – London, The Blue Lias – Lyme Regis, The Tithe Barn – Cheltenham, The Brewhouse – Taunton, The Archway Gallery – Wellington School, Somerset -Ilminster Arts Centre at The Meeting House, Somerset. She has also exhibited at various venues during SAW (Somerset Arts Weeks) and the 10 Parishes Festival.
